Design Process

A structured design process – from initial ideas to polished, user-centered products.

Design partners with executive leadership to map the customer journey, identifying key pain points and opportunities to drive strategic design decisions.

Discovery & Immersion

Duration: 1-2 Weeks

We start by deeply understanding the problem we're solving and the people we're designing for. This isn't just about gathering requirements; it’s about empathy – interviewing users, researching the competitive landscape, analyzing data, and asking ‘Why are we even doing this?’ We establish the core goals and define success metrics upfront.

We utilize tools like Docs, Ollama, and Airtable to organize research, synthesize insights, and rapidly prototype initial concepts – ensuring we’re always building with a data-driven approach.

Reframing the core Sales Navigator experience through a “How Might We” lens.

Concept & Exploration

Duration: 2-3 Weeks

Based on our initial understanding, we generate a range of potential solutions. This phase focuses on rapid ideation – sketching, wire-framing low-fidelity prototypes, and exploring diverse design directions. It's about quantity and encouraging bold ideas; we’re prioritizing exploration, not perfection.

We utilize Sketches, Figjam, and Lovable to rapidly prototype initial concepts, fostering collaborative ideation and visual exploration of user flows – ensuring alignment with key stakeholders throughout the design process.

Refinement & Prototype

Duration: 3-5 Weeks

We select the most promising concepts and move into detailed design. This involves creating high-fidelity prototypes, establishing visual design systems, and building out core interactions. We focus on building a tangible experience, ensuring usability, and demonstrating how the product will function.

We refine design decisions and create interactive prototypes to represent the final solution for testing. We use tools like Figma, Protopie, and Framer.

We collaborate across Design, Research, and Product to surface insights and inform executive direction.

Sharing Insights & Iteration

Duration: 1-2 Weeks

We present design rationales and conduct user testing using tools like UserTesting.com and Figjam, to validate design decisions, incorporating feedback and documenting key learnings – ensuring a continuous, iterative approach aligned with business objectives.
